Before using Okendo metrics to build Klaviyo flows, ensure the Klaviyo integration is enabled in your Okendo app. Refer to our help article here for detailed setup instructions.

Building Your Flow

⚠️ Note: If you are working with a Customer Success Manager, they can clone a pre-built flow into your Klaviyo account for customization.

  1. Create a New Flow in Klaviyo:

    • Use the “Created Okendo Review” metric as the flow trigger.

  2. Configure a Site Review Trigger Split:

    • Drag and drop a Trigger Split below your flow trigger.

    • Select the dimension "ProductID."

    • Set it equal to site-reviews-{{subscriber-ID}}.

    • This will allow you to split the flow, depending if someone has already left a site review using Okendo or not.

  3. Configure a Rating Trigger Split:

    • Drag and drop a Trigger Split.

    • Select the dimension "Rating."

    • Choose "Is at least" and enter "4" as the dimension value.

💡 TIP: To request a site review from all customers who have submitted an Okendo review, regardless of rating, you can omit this step.

  4. (Optional) Add a Time Delay:

    • Drag and drop a Time Delay below your Trigger Split.

    • Set the Time Delay to your preferred length of time.

  5. (Optional) Add a 50% Conditional Split Between Providers

    • Drag and drop a Conditional Split block.

    • In Settings, include a 50% random sample.

    • Direct half of your audience to one site such as Google My Business and the other half to another site such as Trustpilot.

  6. Add an Email:

    • Drag and drop a new Email into your flow below the Time Delay.

    • Click on the email and select "Additional Filters" on the left panel.

    • Configure the Additional Filter with the condition "Has not received this email" to limit how many times a customer receives this email.

Your finished flow should look similar to the below after following these steps.

Configure Your Email

The email can be configured like any other email in Klaviyo. You can use an existing email template or start from scratch.

💡 Tip: To include the customer’s review copy that they submitted to Okendo, use the following code: {{ event|lookup:'Review Body' }}

Set Your Flow Live

Change your email status from “Draft” to “Live” to start automatically requesting Google reviews from your customers following a positive Okendo review!
