Generating a quiz
Follow the steps below to create a quiz using generative AI.
Click the + New Quiz button at the top of the Quiz List page and select the Use generative AI to create a quiz option.
Click Next and set a unique Quiz Name.
Click Add Products to select the products for the quiz. These products will be used to inform the AI model about your store to help generate relevant questions and recommendations.
Once the products have been selected, click the Create Quiz button. The quiz will be typically generated in 1-2 minutes and an email will be sent to account users once it is ready to view.
Viewing and modifying a generated quiz
After the quiz has been generated, view the questions and recommendations created for the quiz to check that they make sense for your store. A generated quiz uses points logic to set up and determine the recommendations.
Usually 5-6 questions are generated for a quiz while the number of recommendations depends on how many products have been selected. Points are automatically allocated to products based on the different answer options.
Add more questions to the quiz as needed and modify the points values if it makes sense to do so. A generated quiz provides a great starting point but modifications may be required before going live.
After the questions and recommendations have been finalized, follow the steps to style and test the quiz before installing it on site.

For optimal results with AI generated quizzes, we recommend the following:
Select a reasonable amount of products for the quiz generation: Select as many products as possible to provide enough information to generate questions and recommendation pages containing multiple products. A minimum of 10 products usually produces the best results.
Include detailed product descriptions: Although a quiz can be generated without product descriptions, the extra detail will ensure the questions and recommendations created will be more accurate and relevant to quiz takers. The descriptions could contain information such as key product attributes and ideal use cases.
Generate a quiz multiple times: Generate a quiz multiple times with the same products to receive different questions and recommendations. Choose the quiz that makes the most sense as a starting point or utilize elements from each for the final quiz.
