Generating a quiz
Follow the steps below to create a quiz using generative AI.
Click the + New Quiz button at the top of the Quiz List page and select the Use generative AI to create a quiz option.
Click Next and set a unique Quiz Name.
Click Add Products to select the products for the quiz. These products will be used to inform the AI model about your store and help generate relevant questions and recommendations.
Once the products have been selected, click the Create Quiz button. The quiz is typically generated in 1–2 minutes and you'll receive an email once it's ready to view.
Viewing and modifying a generated quiz
After the quiz has been generated, review the questions and recommendations to check that they make sense for your store. A generated quiz uses points logic to set up and determine the recommendations.
Usually 5–6 questions are generated for a quiz, while the number of recommendations depends on how many products you selected. Points are automatically allocated to products based on the different answer options.
Add more questions as needed and modify the points values if appropriate. A generated quiz provides a great starting point, but some adjustments may be needed before going live.
After the questions and recommendations have been finalized, follow the steps to style and test the quiz before installing it on your site.

Select a reasonable number of products: Select as many products as possible to give the AI enough information to generate questions and recommendation pages containing multiple products. A minimum of 10 products usually produces the best results.
Include detailed product descriptions: Although a quiz can be generated without product descriptions, the extra detail ensures the questions and recommendations are more accurate and relevant to quiz-takers. Descriptions could contain information such as key product attributes and ideal use cases.
Generate a quiz multiple times: Generating a quiz multiple times with the same products produces different questions and recommendations each time. Choose the quiz that makes the most sense as a starting point, or take the best elements from each to build your final quiz.
