When you integrate Eber with Okendo, your customers can earn rewards when they submit a review. You can then track and manage those rewards in Eber.

In this article, you can learn how to:

Retrieve the API key

Before you can set up Eber to integrate with Okendo, you'll need to retrieve the API key and business ID from your Eber account.

Note: You'll need to contact Eber support to retrieve your Business ID.

  1. Open your Eber app.

  2. Click the bottom left corner logo, and then click Settings.

  3. Click API in the sidebar.

  4. Click Create to generate a new API key.

  5. Enter a name in the field provided. For example, you can use "Okendo Reviews".

  6. Click the Active button to make sure that the API key is active, and then click Save.

  7. Copy the newly created API key.

Enable your Eber integration

Before you can begin to set up Eber to integrate with Okendo, you'll need to download the Eber app to your Shopify store and create an account.

  1. Open your Okendo app.

  2. Click Settings in the sidebar.

  3. Click Integration, and then click the edit icon under for Eber (under Loyalty).

  4. Enter the Business ID and API key.

Note: You'll need to contact Eber support to retrieve your Business ID.

  5. Click Save.

Configure rewards in Okendo

Before you can begin to offer rewards to your customers, you need to configure how they will earn those rewards. Click here to learn more.

View rewards in Eber

You need to configure the Okendo rewards feature to use Eber as your reward provider before you create and start a sequence to send review request emails. If the customer earns any rewards from submitting a review, Okendo sends an event to Eber to assign the rewards to the reviewer's account.

To view your customer's points in Eber

  1. Open your Eber app.

  2. Click People in the sidebar.

  3. Click Member.
You'll see the total amount of points, which also includes points that the customer earned from other rewards programs outside of an Okendo review.

Note: If a customer leaves a review using the write-a-review (WAR) button, they won't be eligible for rewards unless they're a verified buyer.
