When you integrate Eber with Okendo, your customers can earn rewards for submitting reviews, which you can then track and manage in Eber.

In this article, you can learn how to:

Retrieve the API key

Before setting up the integration, you'll need to retrieve the API key and business ID from your Eber account.

Note: You need to contact Eber support to retrieve your Business ID.

  1. Open your Eber app.

  2. Click the bottom left corner logo, then click Settings.

  3. Click API in the sidebar.

  4. Click Create to generate a new API key.

  5. Enter a name in the field provided (e.g., "Okendo Reviews").

  6. Click the Active button to activate the API key, then click Save.

  7. Copy the newly created API key.

Enable your Eber integration

Ensure you have downloaded the Eber app to your Shopify store and created an account.

  1. Open your Okendo app.

  2. Click Settings in the sidebar.

  3. Click Integration, then click the edit icon for Eber (under Loyalty).

  4. Enter the Business ID and API key. (Contact Eber support to retrieve your Business ID if needed.)

  5. Click Save.

View rewards in Eber

You must configure Okendo to use Eber as your reward provider before starting a sequence to send review request emails. If a customer earns rewards from submitting a review, Okendo sends an event to Eber to assign the rewards to the reviewer's account.

To View Your Customer's Points in Eber:

  1. Open your Eber app.

  2. Click People in the sidebar.

  3. Click Member to see the total points, including those earned from other rewards programs outside of Okendo reviews.

Note: If a customer leaves a review using the write-a-review (WAR) button, they won't be eligible for rewards unless they are a verified buyer.
