The Capture tab in Reviews performance reporting helps you see how customers interact with review requests and what types of content they contribute. You can track which collection channels are performing best and compare the popularity of photos and videos uploaded alongside reviews. This gives you the insight you need to optimize your review strategy and encourage richer review content.

In your Okendo admin panel, you can access the Capture tab by going Reviews > Performance > Capture.
Capture tab key metrics
At the top of the Sentiment report, youβll see four key metrics. These are calculated across the selected products in the time period.
π‘ Changing the time period or the selected products will update the key metrics to reflect the new selection.
Metirc | Description |
Reviews Received | The number of reviews received across the selected products in the time period. This includes published and unpublished reviews. |
Review Rate | The number of reviews received versus the number of orders for which a review request has been sent. |
Emails Sent | The number of review request emails sent for eligible orders. |
Media Uploads | The number of photos or videos that have been uploaded by customers reviewing you products. |

The Capture tab provides several charts that allow you to view data to help you fine-tune review requests, prioritize the channels that deliver the highest response rates, and encourage customers to add richer content like photos and videos.

The Review rate chart shows your review rate overtime based on all of the orders, giving you an overview of the performance of your review capture.
Review collection by channel
The Reviews by Channel chart shows which channels are most effective at driving reviews.
You can view results for four channels
Channel | Description |
Review request email | Reviews submitted directly from automated requests via email. |
Importer | Reviews uploaded via imports. |
Shopify Shop app | Reviews submitted via the Shopify Shop app. |
Write a Review Button | Reviews collected when customers click the Write a Review button on your storefront. |
π‘ You can switch between cumulative (total reviews collected over time) and periodical (reviews collected during specific intervals) views.
This helps you answer questions like:
Which review request channel is driving the most responses from my customers?
How is performance changing across email, importer, and on-site collection over time?
Review Emails
The Review Emails chart shows how your customers are interacting with the review request emails that they receive. You can track the following statuses:
Sent
Opened
Clicked
Reviewed
Added media

Viewing media uploads by type
The Media Uploads chart displays the media types that customers add most frequently to their reviews. You can compare:
Photos
Videos

Are my customers more likely to upload photos or videos with their reviews?
Is the share of video reviews increasing, and should I encourage more of them?

Can I compare performance by product?
No, data is aggregated across all selected products. Product-by-product comparisons are not available in the Engagement tab.
Which channels are included in reporting?
Only four channels are tracked: Review request email, Importer, Shopify shop, and Write a review button.
