The Products tab in Reviews performance reporting helps you understand how your products are performing in terms of reviews, ratings, and overall shopper sentiment. You can compare products side by side, spot trends in review volume and average ratings over time, and drill down into specific products to see their reviews in detail. This provides a clear view of how products are resonating with customers and which may require more attention.

In your Okendo admin panel, navigate to the Products tab by going to Reviews > Performance > Products
Products tab key metrics
At the top of the Products report, you’ll see three key metrics. These are calculations across the selected products in the time period.
💡 Changing the time period or the selected products will update the key metrics to reflect the new selection.
Metric | Description |
Reviews Received | The number of reviews you have received. This includes published and unpublished reviews. |
Published reviews | The number of published reviews, plus the percentage of those reviews compared to the reviews received. |
Average rating | The overall average rating across the selected products, including both published and unpublished ratings. |
The tables & charts on the Products Tab
The Products tab provides several tables and charts that allow you to view the distribution and changes over time of key metrics.
Each of these charts provides insights that will help you better understand what your customers are thinking about your products based on the reviews they provide.
Using the Top Products table
The Top Products table enables you to view performance across multiple products or groups and sort products by various metrics, allowing you to rank them accordingly.
Available columns include
Column | Description |
Product or group name | The name of the product or group selected by the user. |
Average rating | The average rating and a breakdown of scores of the selected product or group for the defined date range. |
Reviews | A count of reviews received for each selected product or group for the defined date range. This also displays a change indicator for the period immediately prior to the defined date range. |
Questions | A count of questions received for each selected product or group for the defined date range. |
Sentiment | Indicates the overall sentiment and a breakdown of sentiment for the product or group within the defined date range. |
You can sort the table by rating, review count, question count, or sentiment to focus on what matters most. Hovering over the Average Rating and Sentiment metrics will reveal deeper insights such as breakdowns of rating and sentiment scores.
💡 Clicking on the name of a product or group will take you directly to its Product view in the Reviews tab, where you can see all reviews for that item in detail.
Tracking reviews received over time
The Reviews Received chart displays the number of reviews your products are accumulating over time.
Switch between cumulative totals (lifetime growth of reviews) or periodic values (reviews received during a specific time frame).
Compare up to 20 products at once, with each product represented as a unique line on the chart.
Hover over the chart to see exact counts for a product on a specific date.
This helps you quickly identify which products consistently attract reviews and whether there are spikes or slowdowns at specific times.
Monitoring average ratings over time
The Average Rating chart lets you track how ratings for a product or group are trending.
View cumulative averages to understand whether ratings are improving or declining overall.
Switch to periodic averages to see fluctuations in ratings for a specific date or time period.
Hover over the chart to see exact rating values for a product on a given date.
💡Use the Average Rating chart it easily spot trends such as whether ratings dip after a new product version is released.
Using comparisons in tables & charts
You can compare how your products have performed over time using the comparison tool.
Selecting your comparison period will display relevant data for products and groups side by side across all tables and charts on the Products tab.
Top Products
Selecting your comparison period will display relevant data for products and groups as a unique line item on the chart.
Reviews Received
Comparison series data will appear as a dotted line in the same colour as the selected item.
Hovering over data points will allow you to dive deeper with metrics call-outs for the current and previous periods.
Rating Average
⚠️ While you can select up to 20 products or groups to display on the chart, it's important to remember, the chart may become difficult to read if you are running a comparison for a large number of products or groups.
Export performance data for deeper analysis
You can export the metrics behind the Product tab report for further analysis. Exports allow you to:
