Profile questions replace customer attributes in Okendo, but work the same way. They allow you to gather insights about your customers by asking more personalized questions on the review capture form. You can link your profile questions to an attribute collection.

In this article you'll learn how to:

Before you begin

You must configure which profile questions you want to ask your customers before you can incorporate them into the review process. Click here to learn more.

Embed profile questions in your review process

  1. Open your Okendo app.

  2. Go to Reviews > Attributes from the sidebar.

  3. Click the + Add Attribute Collection button.

  4. Select a collection in the drop-down list where you want to apply the profile questions.

  5. Click the Profile Attributes tab.

  6. Click the + button to add a question.
โ€‹Note: You can also add all profile questions at once by clicking the Add All button beneath the list of questions.

Configure the options for a profile question

You can configure these options for each profile question you add to your review process:

Option

What it does

Optional

You can help increase review submissions when you make certain questions optional for the customer to answer

Private

Some of your customers may not want to publicly surface sensitive information about themselves in a review so they may be less inclined to provide an answer. You can mark these questions as private to let your customer know that we won't publicly display their answer.

  1. Add a profile question or edit an existing one.

  2. Toggle one or both of the options on or off.

  3. Click Apply to save your changes.

Note: When you make a question Optional or mark it as Private, you'll notice in the Question Preview that Okendo labels your question according to the option you selected.
