When you create an Okendo sequence that connects to a journey in Attentive, you can send SMS review requests to customers that opted in to receiving text messages. If not, the Okendo sequence sends review request emails to customers who either do not have a phone number or choose not to receive text messages.

Keep in mind that the sequence can send information for only one product per event, so it automatically selects the first product in the order to send to Attentive. If you disconnect the Attentive integration, this Okendo sequence stops sending any review requests.

In this article, you'll learn how to:

Before you begin

You need to build a journey in Attentive before you set up an Okendo sequence. For more information, see Building Journeys in Attentive to Send Review Requests.

Create an Okendo sequence that links to an Attentive journey

  1. Open your Okendo app.

  2. In the navigation panel, click Mail, and then click Sequences.

  3. In the upper-right corner, click the New Sequence button.

  4. Under Integrations, select Attentive, and then click Create Sequence.

The default Attentive sequence will have 2 flows for the review request:

    • If a customer opts in to receiving SMS messages, Okendo sends an event to Attentive

    • If a customer doesn't want to receive SMS messages, Okendo sends a review request to the customer.

Customizing the sequence options

If you require the following custom options for the Attentive sequence, contact your Customer Success Manager.

  • Create a sequence to set Klaviyo as the email option if a customer doesn't opt in to SMS messages.

  • Set up a reminder email to remind customers to submit a review

  • Set a media reminder email to ask customers to add images or videos to the reviews they submitted
