When a shopper is logged into your store, Okendo automatically pre-fills their email address and name across every Okendo surface they encounter. Shoppers spend less time entering details and more time completing the actions that matter; leaving reviews, joining loyalty programs, sharing referrals, and more.

How it works

When a shopper is logged into your store through their Shopify customer account, Okendo recognises their session and carries their details across all Okendo widgets and forms on your site.

This means shoppers never need to manually enter their email address or name when interacting with any Okendo surface. Their details are already there, ready to go.

⚠️ Pre-fill only applies to shoppers who are logged in. Guest shoppers will still need to enter their details manually.


Which Okendo surfaces are covered

Shopper details are pre-filled across the following Okendo products:

  • Reviews: Shoppers who click to write a review are automatically authenticated using their customer account. They land directly on the review form, already logged in.

  • Loyalty: When a shopper visits your loyalty program, whether joining for the first time or returning, their details are pre-populated from their customer account.

  • Quizzes: Email address and name are pre-populated when a logged-in shopper engages with a quiz.

  • Surveys: When a survey appears for a logged-in shopper, their email address is pre-filled. No input needed to get started.

  • Referrals: Both email address and name are pre-filled from the shopper's store account, so they can send a referral immediately.

Q. Do I need to turn this on or configure anything?
A. No. Persistent shopper data is enabled automatically on all Okendo accounts. There is nothing to set up.

Q. Does this work for guest shoppers?
A. No. Pre-fill only applies to shoppers who are logged into your store. Guests will see empty fields as usual.

A. All plans, Free and above.

Q. What details are pre-filled?
A. Email address is pre-filled across all covered surfaces. Name is also pre-filled where the surface supports it, including referrals, quizzes, and loyalty.
