Configuring your TikTok Shop for syndicating reviews

Okendo uses identifiers from Shopify to help match reviews for syndication to TikTok.
Identifiers can be ProductID or Global Trade Item Number (GTIN) and are applied in your TikTok Shop as a product's Identifier Code.
Using the TikTok Shopify app and ProductID
To automatically sync products and use the ProductID from Shopify, you must install the TikTok app from the Shopify app store.
Follow these steps to configure your Shopify account and sync your products between Shopify and TikTok.
Manually adding products and using GTIN
You may choose to add your products to your TikTok Shop manually. In this scenario, you must add the GTIN in TikTok as the Identifier Code. Learn more about adding products in TikTok Shop.
❗️Before connecting to Okendo and importing your reviews, you should ensure that your products on TikTok Shop have the same identifier code as on Shopify.
How TikTok syndication works
Okendo sends all published (approved) and verified (buyer) product reviews to TikTok.
TikTok matches these reviews to your products in your TikTok Shop using a product's identifier code such as the ProductID or GTIN (Global Trade Item Number).
Once a review is successfully matched, it is automatically published on the product listing in your TikTok Shop.

Connecting Okendo with your TikTok account
From your admin panel go to Settings > Integrations > Sales & Marketing > TikTok
Click on Connect on the TikTok integration and complete the authentication flow.
⚠️ Importing of reviews will begin immediately once authorization is completed. Your TikTok Shop will be backfilled with previously approved and verified reviews.
Depending on the volume of reviews to be imported, there may be a delay before your content appears on TikTok—up to 30 hours.
If you don’t see your reviews after 48 hours, contact the Okendo support team.
