Add header images to your quiz to match your brand's visual style across the Intro, Questions, and Recommendations pages. Choose from two layout modes and three image positions to get the right look at every screen size.
In this article, you will learn about;
Adding header images to a quiz
Edit a quiz and navigate to the Configure tab.
Expand either the Intro, Questions, or Recommendations Page section depending on where you want the header image to appear.
Upload an image in one of the accepted formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, or GIF. The recommended width is less than 2,400px.
Selecting a layout mode
Choose how the image scales within the quiz:
Logo — The image maintains its aspect ratio and scales up to the smaller of its natural width or the maximum width value you set. Best suited for brand logos.
Banner — The image maintains its aspect ratio but is resized to fit the container height. The container height is determined by the quiz height multiplied by the smaller of the image's natural width and the maximum width you set. Best suited for rich banner images related to the quiz's content.
Selecting an image position
Choose where the image appears relative to the quiz content:
Image above — The header image displays above the quiz content. Landscape images work best for this position.
Max Image Height — Set the maximum height for the image as it scales with screen size.
Left of content / Right of content — The image displays to the left or right of the quiz content. On smaller screen sizes such as mobile, the image typically appears above the content. Portrait images work best for these positions.
Image Width Measurement — Choose between Pixels and Percentage. Pixels sets a fixed maximum width that scales with screen size; Percentage sets what proportion of the screen width the image occupies at each screen size.
Max Image Height (Narrow) — If the image width is set too wide for the layout, the quiz content collapses below the header image. This setting controls the maximum image height when the layout is in a collapsed state.
Once you've uploaded your images, test the quiz at various screen and window sizes to confirm they scale as expected.
