Build targeted Klaviyo segments using Okendo review, loyalty, quiz, survey, and referral data to deliver more relevant campaigns and flows.

In this article, you will learn about:

Before you begin

You'll need to connect Okendo to Klaviyo before building segments. See Getting started with Klaviyo and Okendo.

Create a segment using Okendo data

  1. In Klaviyo, go to Lists & Segments.

  2. Click Create List / Segment, then select Segment.

  3. Name your segment and use the segment builder to add conditions.

  4. Click Create Segment.

⚠️ Segments may take time to fully populate after creation. Wait before scheduling campaigns or flows against a new segment.

Use Okendo events in segments

Okendo sends behavioral events to Klaviyo that you can use as segment conditions.

  1. In the segment builder, add a condition and select What someone has (or has not) done.

  2. Choose an Okendo event from the dropdown. Available events include:

    • Created Okendo Review — fired when a customer submits a review

    • Eligible for Okendo Review Request — fired when a customer becomes eligible to receive a review request

    • Ineligible for Okendo Review Request — fired when a customer is marked ineligible (e.g., already reviewed)

    • Submitted Okendo Quiz — fired when a customer completes a quiz

    • Submitted Okendo Survey — fired when a customer completes a survey

    • Sent Okendo Referral — fired when a customer sends a referral

  3. Set your conditions (e.g., at least once, zero times, within a date range).

💡 For a full list of Okendo events and their properties, see Okendo data sent to Klaviyo.

Use Okendo profile properties in segments

Okendo syncs customer profile properties to Klaviyo that you can filter on.

  1. In the segment builder, add a condition and select Properties about someone.

  2. Choose an Okendo property from the list. Examples include loyalty tier, points balance, and referral counts.

  3. Set your operator and value (e.g., equals, greater than, contains).

💡 For a complete reference of all Okendo profile properties synced to Klaviyo, see Okendo data sent to Klaviyo.
