How Alt-Tagging AI works
When a customer uploads an image with their review, Okendo's AI generates a short, descriptive alt tag.
The alt tag is then automatically embedded in the HTML of the image on the review widget.
Screen readers can use this alt text to describe the image to visually impaired shoppers.
Search engines use the alt text to better understand and rank your pages.

Q: Where can I view the generated alt text?
A: The alt text is embedded in the widget's HTML, but it isn't visible or editable in your Okendo admin. To view it, open a product page on your storefront, find a shopper image in the reviews widget, and inspect it:
Firefox: right-click the image and select Inspect Accessibility Properties.
Chrome: right-click the image and select Inspect.
