Overview
Shoppers want the gist of what customers think before they read dozens of reviews. Reviews Summaries condense a product's reviews into a short summary you can show inside the Reviews widget, or as a standalone widget anywhere on a page. You can adjust how summaries look to fit your product page layout.
Before you begin

Add Reviews Summaries to the Reviews widget
Follow the steps below to add Reviews Summaries to the Reviews widget. The summaries will display once they have been published for each product or group.
Expand the Aggregate Modules section.
Add the Review Summaries module to an existing block or create a new block.
Customize the module as needed:
Adjust the heading: set a title that highlights the summary.
Set the maximum amount of text lines to show before the summary truncates and displays a Read More action.
Adjust the width and text alignment of the block to modify the summary layout.
Click Save Changes. Published summaries may take a few minutes to display on your storefront as the widget updates.
Add the standalone widget to a store page
Follow the steps below to add the Summaries standalone widget to a page. The standalone widget provides you with the flexibility to place the summary anywhere on a product detail page or elsewhere on a page.
Edit your theme in the Shopify admin.
Navigate to a page you would like to display the summary widget on, such as a product detail page.
Add an app section from the sidebar where you want to place it and select the Okendo Reviews Summary widget.
Select the product to show the summary for. If a page template such as a product detail page already displays a product, this will be pre-selected.
Configure the summary Heading and Max Text Lines and save your changes.
Translate summaries
If you are using Shopify Markets, you can allow summaries to be translated on load or on demand by shoppers. To set this up, see Enabling review translation for multiple languages. Only the default text for the heading "Reviews Summary" will be translated automatically. Custom text will remain the same across locales.
