Exporting data from Okendo

Export your reviews, questions and answers, customer profiles, and loyalty transactions to analyze customer insights, create reports, or integrate with external tools.

Configuring export recipients

Before exporting data, ensure you have the correct recipients' email addresses saved.

  1. Navigate to Settings > User

  2. Locate the Additional Email Addresses section.

  3. Enter the email address(es) where you'd like to received data exports.

  4. Click Save at the bottom of the page.

Accessing the export page

To access the export page:

  1. Locate the Data section, which displays all available export types.

  2. Click the Export button (download icon) next to the data type you want to export.

Export types

There are four different data exports available in Okendo. Expand the sections below to learn more about each export type:

Reviews

The reviews export includes comprehensive data about all product reviews submitted to your store, including review content, ratings, customer information, and attributes:

  • Review identification: Unique hash, product ID, product name, variant ID, SKU, and handle

  • Review content: Title, body text, rating (1-5 stars), sentiment analysis (positive/negative/neutral/mixed)

  • Customer information: Name, email, country code, verified buyer status, recommendation status

  • Media: Image count, image URLs, video count, video URLs, rejected image URLs

  • Review metadata: Date created, source (review request email, write a review button, admin test capture, etc.), external ID, approval status, syndication status

  • Merchant response: Reply text, reply date created, reply visibility (public/private)

  • Engagement metrics: Upvotes, downvotes

  • Keywords: Positive, negative, mixed, and neutral keywords extracted from the review

  • Tags: Any tags applied to the review

  • Attributes: All product and profile review attributes configured for your store (such as "How often do you use our products?", "What texture is your hair?", "Skin concerns", "Body type", etc.)

Questions & Answers

The questions and answers export includes all customer questions submitted on product pages along with any merchant responses:

  • Product identification: Product ID

  • Question details: Question body, date created, questioner name, questioner email

  • Answer details: Answer body, date created, answerer name, answerer email, publication status (published/unpublished)

⚠️ Each question can have multiple answers. In the export, questions with multiple answers will appear on multiple rows, with each row showing a different answer to the same question.

Customer Profiles

The customer profiles export provides a comprehensive view of all customer data collected through Okendo, including review activity, loyalty program participation, and custom attributes:

  • Customer identification: Email address, namespace, given name, family name

  • Order data: Total order value, average order value, total orders

  • Review activity: Total reviews, average review rating, last review rating, last review sentiment, average review sentiment, last review request email sent date

  • Engagement metrics: Last question date, total quiz responses, total survey responses, last NPS score, last NPS category, last NPS date

  • Loyalty program data: Enrollment date, enrollment channel, points balance, points pending, points spent, rewards claimed, loyalty status (enrolled/not enrolled), VIP tier, VIP tier ID, tier entry date, tier expiry date, date points expire, referral shareable link, active paid membership status, total successful referrals, total successful referral value, last successful referral date, referral blocklist status, next loyalty birthday date

  • Contact preferences: Accepts marketing, locale, phone number, avatar

  • Personal information: Birthday (with separate fields for year, month, and day), age range

  • Account status: Blocklist status, social connection status

  • Custom attributes: All customer attributes configured for your store (such as "Gender", "Skin type", "Hair color", "Body type", "Location", etc.)

Loyalty Transactions

The loyalty transactions export includes a detailed record of all point-earning activities, redemptions, and adjustments in your loyalty program:

  • Customer identification: Loyalty customer reference (unique identifier)

  • Transaction details: Transaction type (earn/redeem/adjustment), point amount, transaction date

  • Status information: Status (complete/pending), date completed, date to complete

  • Transaction description: External description (such as "Placed an Order", "Celebrated a Birthday", "Redeemed a Free Product", etc.)

  • Order reference: Associated order ID (when applicable)

Export filters

There are four export filters. The first is the Date filter which can be applied across all exports (Reviews, Q&A, Customer Profiles, & Loyalty Transactions). The other three filters are specific Reviews: Rating, Product, & Source. Expand the sections below to learn more about each filter.

Date

Select from All time, Today, Yesterday, Last 7 Days, This month, or Custom range (selecting this last option will open a date picker so you can define your custom date range).

Rating

Select any of the 5 star filter options for your Reviews export.

Product

The product filter allows you to select up to ten products. If not used, reviews for all products matching your other filters will be exported.

Source

This filter enables you to select from the following review sources:

  • Review Request Email

  • Write a Review Button

  • Importer

  • Admin Test Capture

  • Shopify Shop (aka the Shop app)

Exporting data

  1. To export data, click on the export icon next to one of the four export types.

  2. Next, you can use any of the four filters discussed above and then click

  3. After you request an export, Okendo processes your data and sends you a download link for a csv file via email.

    1. Exports are generated in the background and the processing time depends on the amount of data being exported. Most exports complete within a few minutes, though larger datasets may take longer.

💡 If you don't select any filters, the export will include all reviews from all time.
