Free shipping is a perk often used to reward a merchant's most loyal customers. With this perk, enrolled members (on specific tiers) can receive free shipping discounts on all orders placed with the merchant.

Prerequisites for permanent free shipping discounts
Before using permanent free shipping discounts, a merchant:
Must have Okendo Loyalty installed (this feature will only work with Okendo Loyalty)
Must launch their loyalty program
Must have VIP Tiers enabled
Must grant metafield permissions to Okendo Loyalty
How to provision permanent free shipping discounts
Open Shopify Admin, navigate to Discounts and select Create Discount.
2. Navigate to the bottom of the modal screen and select Loyalty VIP Free Shipping.
3. Complete the fields in the form.
Title: Give your permanent free shipping discount an appropriate name
VIP Tiers that will receive the automatic discount: Select the VIP Tiers that the permanent free shipping discount, will apply to.
Shipping Rates: Optionally enter a shipping rate amount. Any shipping rates above this amount, will be excluded from free shipping. This is good if you wish to limit this discount to standard shipping rates and not priority/expedited shipping rates (which generally costs more). If this option is not select, then all shipping rates will rendered free.
Combinations: Allow this discount to be combined with order or product discounts.
⚠️ NOTE
This discount can be combined with product and order discounts, whether they are provisioned in Okendo or directly in Shopify. This discount is subject to Shopify coupon combination rules.
Active Dates: Optionally enter a start and end date that this discount will be active. This may be handy if you only wish to offer this discount as part of a limited time promotion.
Once you have provisioned the discount to your liking, select Save Discount.
Now, when a member places an order and all VIP Tier and order criteria are met, the member will receive permanent free shipping, in accordance with the discount setup.
Members WILL NOT have to use points to redeem a free shipping coupon and apply it to the order.
Other important things to note
You can create as many permanent free shipping discounts as required. However to avoid confusion, we advise to only apply one permanent free shipping discount per VIP tier.
Permanent free shipping discounts can be deactivated or removed in the Discounts page, by selecting the discount in question and then Deactivated discounts (retains the discount, but renders it inactive) or Delete discounts (removes the discount entirely).
