A progress bar can be added to a survey to help survey takers understand their survey progress and how much is left to be completed. It can help improve completion rates and reduce question drop off rates, especially for longer surveys.
To add a progress bar to a survey and customize its styling follow these steps:
Click into Surveys and navigate to Question Styling from the sidebar.
Scroll to the Progress Bar settings.
Select the Bar Type
Bar - Long: A bar taking up the full width of the survey.
Bar - Short: A compact centered in the survey.
Choose the Primary & Background Bar Colors, to match with your brand's colors.
Choose whether the bar should show Above the survey's questions or Below the survey questions.
Select from a variety of different Text Types to indicate the question progress and where it should be Above or Below the survey's questions.
