Okendo’s integration with Universal Analytics (UA) allows you to send event data to Google Analytics, specifically Universal Analytics. This will help you gain direct insights into the impact of customer-generated content and reviews on key metrics such as conversion rates, average order values, and revenue by setting up Okendo to integrate with Google Analytics. Okendo makes use of this integration to track your reviews widget interaction events on your site and collect those events in UA.
ℹ️ Note: Universal Analytics will no longer process new data as of July 1, 2023. If you haven’t already, you should prepare to switch over to Google Analytics 4.
You can capture Okendo events in Google Analytics 4 by following either our Google Tag Manager integration guide or our Global Site Tag integration guide.
Before you begin
The Okendo + UA integration makes use of your existing Universal Analytics setup. Make sure you have Google Analytics set up in your Shopify account and you turned on ecommerce tracking. Click the **button** below to learn more.

Filtered/sorted reviews
Clicked the star icons at the top of the product or collection page
Clicked on an image or video to enlarge it
Clicked up-vote or down-vote on a review
