The article will guide you through the steps to submitting your first test review for a product from your Shopify store.
Setup
Before you can leave a review, you must make sure you have at least one product in your Shopify store and you have the Okendo Reviews app installed. You can do this through the Shopify App Store.
Your First Review
To write a test review go to the Products section within the Okendo Reviews admin, select a product and click the 'Test Review Capture' link.
This will redirect you to the reviews capture page where you can complete the form to leave a review.
Enter a rating, title and review then click 'Agree & Continue' (This will not be displayed on your store). On the following page you can upload a video or image, or simply click the 'Skip' button. Next you can either enter your social media details, or click the 'Continue as guest' button. Lastly, you can preview your review, which is how it would look if it were displayed on your store.
When you are happy with your test review, click the 'Submit' review button. Now, navigate back to the Okendo Review admin dashboard and go to the Reviews Moderation screen (you can learn more about moderation here). Here you can see your review and publish it, if you wish (publishing the review will make it visible on your store).
Other Ways To Submit A Review
The above steps demonstrate how to submit a test review. A customer can leave a review in two ways; using the 'Write a Review' button in the Okendo Review widget or through a reviews request email.
