Post-Review Loyalty Modules provides more ways that merchants can deepen customer engagement with their loyalty program. Merchants can implement up to four loyalty modules (each with their own set of call-to-actions) within the post-review screen, to entice customers to carry out the next loyalty action.

In this article, you’ll learn about:

  • What can be implemented as a Post-Review Loyalty Module

  • How to implement a Post-Review Loyalty Module

  • The user experience for enrolled members vs pending members vs anonymous reviewers.

Implementing Post-Review Loyalty Modules

The post-review page appears after a product review is submitted. Traditionally merchants have inserted site review requests or customer satisfaction surveys on this page. The following loyalty modules can now be added to this page, as well:

Use Your Rewards

This section displays coupons redeemed, but not used. When members select the coupon code, they are taken back to the merchant's store, where the coupon is automatically applied to their next cart.

Redeem Your Rewards

This module displays active rewards and places a Redeem call-to-action against those rewards that can be redeemed, while displaying a progress bar against others (to show how far the enrolled member is from meeting the points required to redeem that reward). Convert your points rewards cannot be redeemed through this module.

Earn More Points

This module displays active earn rules, relevant to the enrolled member. Each earn rule contains a Go call-to-action that, when selected, takes enrolled members to the store front (to earn points through purchases) or to their selected social network (in the case of points earned through sharing/liking/following social profiles). Enrolled members can also submit reviews for other products purchased.

Move Up Tiers

If VIP Tiers have been enabled, this module shows the enrolled member's current tier and how close they are to the next tier. Selecting Tier Perks, takes the member to the VIP Tiers section in the Floating Widget. Selecting Shop Now takes the member to the store front.

⚠️ NOTE

Select Only show rewards that are redeemable to only show active rewards that members can redeem (based on their current points balance and tier status).

Adding Loyalty Modules

To add these modules to the post-review page, navigate to Reviews > Configure > Response Form > Post-Review Modules.

Select , which opens a modal page. Navigate to the Loyalty section, select the desired module and then select Add.

Once the desired module has been added, use or buttons to reorder its position on the page or to remove it.

Repeat the same steps for other loyalty modules.

⚠️ NOTE

Select Only show rewards that are redeemable to only show active rewards that the member can redeem, based on their current points balance and tier status.

Preview Pane

In the preview pane, navigate to the Post-Review page to preview the changes in real-time.

The User Experience

The user experience will slightly differ, based on the member's loyalty status (i.e. pending vs enrolled) and how they submitted the review (i.e. via review request email or review widget). Assuming at least one Loyalty module is enabled.

Reviews by Pending Members, via Review Request Email

  • Points earned from the review and total points earned to date (tracked by Okendo Loyalty) are displayed.

  • Post-Review Loyalty Modules are NOT shown to pending members.

  • Pending members are prompted to opt-in to the loyalty program, to redeem their rewards.

    • Once opted-in, pending members are updated to enrolled members. During this process, members do no leave the post-review page.

    • Once updated to enrolled members, they can view any Loyalty modules added to the post-review page.

Reviews by Enrolled Members, via Review Request Email

  • Both points earned from the review and total points earned to date (tracked by Okendo Loyalty) are displayed.

  • Post-Review Loyalty Modules are shown to enrolled members.

Anonymous Reviewers, via Review Widget

  • Post-Review Loyalty Modules are NOT shown to customers.

  • Customers are prompted to Join Program:

    • If the customer has a store account, they will be sent an email with a call-to-action, to sign-in. Once selected, they will be logged into the merchant's loyalty program.

    • If the customer does not have a store account, they will be sent an email with a call-to-action to create an account. Once selected, they will be taken to the merchant's store front, where they can carry out this action.
